Notes on Print Size.

I am offering Fine Art Prints in sizes that will allow owners to fit the matted print into an easily-obtained, ready-made frame of their choosing. This allows great flexibility in adapting the print to its final environment, and also avoids the expense of custom framing. I am selling the matted prints in formats that I have discovered work very well for standard-sized frames.

Remember that the images displayed on this website have a very low resolution, and that your Fine Art Print will have more detail as compared with what you see on your computer screen (see image resolution)

Notes on Customizing your print.

If you want different sizes of image or matting, please contact me for customization.

Notes on Print Medium.

All my Fine Art Prints are made with archival-quality pigment inks, guaranteed to not fade for at least 100 years, and on archival acid-free papers..

You do have a choice in the paper used, on a scale from glossy to matte to Fine Art. In general, the glossy photographic papers produce the most beautiful depth of color, but their reflective quality may not be desirable. The matte Fine Art papers have less depth of color, but are valued because they more resemble traditional drawings or prints, both in appearance and feel. Also, they are non-glare.

Options for Fine Art Prints
The current acid-free options I am offering for Fine Art prints, in order from matte to glossy are as follows:

Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper
Museum quality, acid-free base to preserve fine art and photos. 100% cotton rag for archivability. Bright white surface for excellent color reproduction.

Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl Paper
The bright white of FineArt Pearl enables impressive contrasts and pictorial depth in colour photography, but especially in black and white. The special coating provides a pearl-finish.

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta Glossy FineArt Paper
This acid-free stock with 100 percent cotton rag combines the virtues of a luxury cotton paper and a traditional baryta board. It has a very fine surface texture, and a high-gloss finish.

Options for Greeting Cards
All cards come with high-quality envelopes and a clear plastic box. The card stock is glossy on the exterior sides, and with a plain paper interior, so that it is easy to write on the inside of them. Both the 5.25 square and the 5 x 7 rectangular are printed on the heaviest and most luxurious card stock available in their respective sizes. They are:

Red River Pecos River Gloss (60 lb) for the 5.25 x 5.25 square cards

Red River Pecos Gloss Magna (96 lb) for the 5 x 7 rectangular cards

Notes on Customizing your print.

If you need a print in a size other than offered on this page, or if you would like your print on another paper or even canvas, please do not hesitate to email me and I will make every attempt to provide you with what you want.

My Prices

I make every attempt to keep my prices as low as possible.  However, my emphasis is on quality rather than economy..  My prices are the same as those charged at the gallery I sell through.  This is the preferred practice for gallery artists.

Currently, my cards sell for $40 for a boxed set of 6.

My Fine Art Prints are matted, and sell from $50 to $150.

Shipping

Generally, I ship once a week, usually on Tuesdays, but expedited shipping is available on request.

Shipping within the US will be by Priority Mail vis the USPS, with an expected delivery time of 2-3 days. I am able to extend FREE shipping to these destinations.

For shipping destinations outside the US, shipping will be by First-Class Package International Service® via the USPS, and there will be a $10 surcharge to these orders, to partially offset the international shipping cost.

Guarantee
If you are not delighted with your purchase you may return it within 7 days of receipt for a full refund of your purchase cost. You will need to pay for the return postage only.

There will only be 10 Fine Art Prints of any image, ever.  Each Fine Art Print will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity documenting the print number.

Here are the steps for purchasing artwork:

You need to specify whether you wish to purchase greeting cards or a Fine Art Print.

If you have selected greeting cards, you then go to Add to Cart.

For a Fine Art Print, you need to choose a Print Size, and a Print Surface. Pricing is set by image and mat size, so the Print Size selector will also show you the price for each. There are several papers to choose from. See Print Surface for descriptions of the current selection.

Then you can Add to Cart.
